Cape Cod Wequassett Wedding Preview

As promised in my previous post, here are some of my favorite images from Sarah and Francis’s wedding. They had an intimate noontime wedding at the Wequassett Resort on Cape Cod. It was one of those wonderful days where I left Boston in clouds and drizzle but by the time I arrived at the wedding the skies were as blue as Sarah’s bridesmaids dresses. Sarah was just finishing up her makeup and about to put on her gown.

If you’re a fan of beaches and grand entrances, the Wequassett is a great spot for a wedding. Francis got his first glimpse of Sarah as she descended the patio stairs accompanied by her parents.

After the ceremony we took advantage of the Wequassett’s lovely grounds for some fun portraits.

A first dance on the Patio followed by lighthearted yet sincere speeches over lunch in the dining room rounded out their wedding day.

Congratulations again Sarah and Francis!

Boston Engagement Session Preview

Sarah and Francis’s Cape Cod wedding photos are nearly ready to go online… so what better time to share some of my favorite images from their engagement. Sarah and Francis are a sweet couple and we had a groovy time time ambling through the Back Bay taking photos. What I loved most about working with them was that they aren’t afraid to be playful (and even race each other!) in their photos.

Stay tuned for Sarah and Francis’s wedding day photos.

Exchange Conference Center Wedding Preview

Nikki and Chris had a late September wedding at the Exchange Conference Center in Boston’s Seaport District. I arrived at The Renaissance Hotel where Nikki was getting her makeup done and the first thing I noticed was another happy couple on the windowsill. Stacey Frasca made sure that Nikki’s face glowed.

Chris got his first glimpse at Nikki in the lobby, while friends and family looked on.

Then we were off to the harbor for a round of pre-ceremony photos.

Can I just say that I love the Exchange Conference Center? Few venues evoke Boston’s history as a fishing port like the ECC. It commands the end of the city’s still-working Fish Pier and provides a fantastic panorama of the harbor.

The wedding party and families gathered upstairs to witness the Ketubah ceremony, followed immediately by the main event.

After the ceremony, the Exchange Hall was quickly transformed for the elegant reception with tables featuring towering floral centerpieces and colorful orchids floating in water.

From their first dance, to the hora, through the evening’s waning moments, the fun and excitement of their wedding was evident on Chris and Nikki’s faces.

Congratulations again Nikki and Chris!
